I've always found it fascinating how we go to great lengths to procrastinate doing the thing.
The best answer I've come up with is deep down, we're scared of success. Completing the thing means dealing a new set of problems that we think we may not be capable of.
Agree that it’s a probably a result of internal fear, but I’m not convinced that it’s fear of success. I think it may be fear of incompetence.
It’s easy to believe we’re capable of something when we’re yet to do it, not easy to face up to the idea that we might not be good enough. That’s really uncomfortable.
